Day 1: Arrival -> Rome (Dinner)
Arrival at international airport Leonardo da Vinci, Rome Fiumicino. Welcome by your private driver. Transfer to the Hotel in Rome downtown area. From your Hotel, you will start your walking tour from Trevi Fountain, the symbol of “La dolce Vita” of Fellini, where Anita Ekberg bathed in.
You will have the chance to toss the coin into its waters to ensure you will return to Rome, according to traditional legend. From the Trevi, you will continue walking trough the historical paths of the ancient Rome and reach the Pantheon. Finish your walk at Piazza Navona, the living room of Rome, where you will admire Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s greatest works. Free time for the rest of the day. Dinner in a traditional gourmet restaurant.
Day 2: Rome (Breakfast)
In the morning meet driver at your hotel for your transfer to the site of Ancient Rome for a guided visit of the Roman Forum, the Coliseum and the Capitoline Hill. Rest of the day at leisure. Dinner suggested at gourmet restaurant.
Day 3: Rome (Breakfast)
Early morning take a tour of the Vatican Museums, including the Sistine Chapel and St Peter Basilica. Enjoy your rest of the day at leisure for a walk of Rome’s famous piazzas.
Dinner suggested at one of traditional restaurant in Trastevere.
Day 4: Rome – Sorrento (breakfast, dinner)
After breakfast meet your Tour director and private minivan for transfer to your hotel in Sorrento. Drive along the spectacular coast road of the Bay of Naples before you will reach your hotel.
Day at leisure in Sorrento. Dinner at traditional Neapolitan restaurant.
Day 5: Sorrento – Positano – Amalfi – Ravello (breakfast)
Full day on the Amalfi coast, a natural Unesco Site, known worldwide for its breathtaking road on high cliffs overlooking the sea. First stop in Positano, a unique fisherman Village built on a cliff that plunged into the sea, considered the capital of lovers on the famous Amalfi Coast, a Unesco site. Stop in Amalfi, visit St Andrew’s Church and the maritime Museum of Ancient Republic of Amalfi. Do not miss the chance to get the famous Amalfi paper as souvenir. Taste some “Limoncello” at one of local small shop. Continue to the village of Ravello, famous for the music festival. Suggested visit to the wonderful gardens of Villa Cimbrone and its amazing view of the coastline.

Day 6: Sorrento – Capri (breakfast)
The island of Capri is one of the most famous tourist destinations in the world, rich of natural beauty and breathtaking panoramic views. You will sail across the Tyrrhenian sea by hydrofoil and approaching the pier of Capri you will surround and admire the massive cliffs from the bottom and appreciate the crystalline water of the island. You will dock at Marina Grande, than take the funicular to the famous Piazzetta, center of town. Walking along the narrow streets you will reach the Caesar Augustus Gardens. Get your kodak moment of “i Faraglioni”. Free time for lunch and shopping before returning to the pier by funicular to board the hydrofoil back to Sorrento.
Day 7: Sorrento – Matera (breakfast, dinner)
Transfer departure to Matera, the famous town of “Sassi” (stones) voted as capital city of European cultural 2019. Here you will visit the scene of Mel Gibson movie, Passion of the Christ.
The Sassi originate from a prehistoric settlement, and are suspected to be some of the first human settlements in Italy. Untill the 50’s , Matera was the only place in the world where people were still living in the caves, in the same houses of their ancestors of 9,000 years ago. Visit of the Sasso Caveoso and the Sasso Barisano. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at charming Hotel in the historical center.
Day 8: Matera – Salice Salentino – Lecce (breakfast, dinner)
Departure transfer to Lecce with on route stop in Salice Salentino for a visit at exclusive wine estate**. Move than to the Ionian coast and have free time for lunch at Porto Cesareo directly by the seashore. Depart to beautiful Lecce, main city on the Salento peninsula and thanks to the presence of numerous baroque palaces it is nicknamed “The Florence of the South”.
Check-in at your hotel.

Day 9: Lecce – Otranto (breakfast)
After breakfast departure city tour of Lecce barocca, visit St. Oronzo square and get the chance to taste a “Pasticciotto”, a delicious shortcrust pastry with cream.
Move than to Otranto, the beautiful city is located stretched out over the Adriatic Sea and is divided into two parts: the village and the historic center.
Visit Castello Aragonese and the Cathedral. Otranto today is one of the most famous resort town in Apulia. Enjoy lunch at gourmet restaurant. Return to the Hotel in Lecce.
Day 10: Ostuni – Alberobello – Polignano a Mare (breakfast, dinner)
Transfer to Polignano a Mare. On route, stop in Ostuni for an orientation tour of the city, know as “la città Bianca” (the white town) with its picturesque streets and spectacular view of the surrounding valleys of almond and centuries olive trees. Stop to visit a unique Olive mill, dated back to the end of 17th century. After lunch move to Alberobello and have the chance to visit the Trulli, the symbol of the town, rural houses build with just stones named “Chiancarelle”. Alberobello has become UNESCO world heritage in 1996. Polignano a Mare, a delightful small city built on a cliff overlooking the Adriatic sea. It is also famous for the jet set of several episodes of “the Bold and the Beautiful” and also known because Polignano gave the birth to Domenico Modugno, famous singer of “Volare”, symbol of the Italian music in the world. Arrival and check-in at your Hotel and dinner at the gourmet Hotel restaurant.
Day 11: Polignano a Mare (breakfast)

Day 12: Polignano a Mare – Bari (breakfast)
Transfer to Bari. Enjoy visiting the old city center and and admire the Castello Svevo, the great wall of the old city and the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, saint patron of Bari, known worldwide with the name of Santa Claus. Lunch at local restaurant suggested. Check-in at your Hotel in Bari. Afternoon at leisure for shopping on Corso Cavour and via Sparano.
Day 13: Polignano a Mare – Andria – Trani (breakfast, dinner)
This morning transfer to Castel del Monte, in the countryside of the city of Andria. Visit the Castle, symbol of the majesty of Frederik the II of Swabia. Return to Bari with a stop on route in Trani for lunch at local picturesque restaurant by the old harbor. Return to Bari. Farewell dinner party.
Day 14: Bari – Rome Fiumicino ( breakfast )
This morning transfer to Bari Airport. Ciao ciao Italia!
