Journey Introduction

Embark on a journey through Italy where every glass tells a story, and every landscape whispers its secrets. We begin in the misty hills of Piedmont with Barolo, a Nebbiolo-based red wine famed for aromas of tar and roses and a regal ageing requirement of at least 36 months.

From there we head to Lombardy, where Franciacorta’s elegant bubbles, made by the traditional method in a small zone near Lake Iseo, capture the essence of Italian celebration. In Emilia‑Romagna, the ancient grape Pignoletto yields a straw‑yellow wine laced with white pepper, wisteria and hints of cedar, while its neighbour Lambrusco di Sorbara charms with a pale ruby hue and perfumed notes of violet and red berries. Our path turns southward to Tuscany, where Brunello di Montalcino—crafted exclusively from Sangiovese and matured in oak for at least two years, offers layers of black cherry, chocolate and leather..

Finally, we return to Piedmont to savour Barbaresco, Nebbiolo’s graceful expression, aged for 24 months with a minimum of nine months in wood and notable for its scents of roses and red fruit.

This itinerary invites you to trace the contours of Italy’s wine culture, from robust power to delicate finesse, and to feel the emotion of each terroir in your glass.
